Eldon was born in Eastern Kentucky in the foot hills
of the Appalachian Mountains. As so many others from
that region of the country he grew up listening to the
Stanley Brothers, Bill Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs and
many other Bluegrass bands that would come through and
play in the local schools and auditoriums. Eldon is very
proud of his heritage and his bluegrass music roots.
Although he has played with many bluegrass bands over
the years he has never lost his love for traditional
bluegrass music. |
